Crunchy Chocolate Frosting
If you have never tried a crunchy chocolate frosting, you are missing out! Sure a good even buttercream is fantastic. But in this chocolate frosting, the crunch of the superfine sugar from hot cocoa mix provides an unbeatable texture. When it comes to chocolate frostings, this one takes the cake.

RECIPE
1. Add chocolate pieces, butter and salt to a heatproof bowl.
2. Microwave in 30 second intervals until butter and chocolate is just melted. Stir in between each microwaving period to ensure even heating.
3. Stir all the ingredients together until mixture is only slightly warm to the touch
4. Add the hot chocolate mix and stir until just combined.
5. Chill mixture for 30 minutes.
6. Using a stand or hand mixture, whip the mixture until it becomes light and airy

6 ounces dark chocolate
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 sticks (6 oz) butter
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup hot chocolate mix
